What to do with those bitten apples?

Are your children like mine and only eat part of an apple and won't touch it again?

Well, I have the perfect solution (along with many other mamas)- Make Apple Chips!
Apple chips are not only a thrify way to use those partially eaten apples, but are very nutricous(sp?) as well.

Pre heat your oven to 200 degrees.  Cut your apples into as thin slices as you can....then lay them on a cookie sheet lines with parchement paper.

If you would like a fun craft to do with your children, you can hae them cut out shapes with small cookie cutters.

You can chose to core your apples, are leave the core in.  If you choose to leave the core in, just be sure to remove the seeds.

You can also sprinkle cinnemon and sugar on them, or leave them plain.

Bake at 200 degrees for at least an hour (more if not to thin)..I also flip them half way through.

These are SO good and costs SO much less then the store bought.

ENJOY!
